Hello new and old Vagabond readers!
I’m here to dive into the Vagabond Pages archive and bring the gems back to the surface. There are at least a thousand entries, essays, images, in its 20 year lifespan, many as fresh today as when William (Wilek) Markiewicz first published them. Since 2015 I have continued in the original format to highlight articles and images, sometimes combining related essays. I‘ve come to see that my choices and comments should work better in this simple blog format, separate from the original Vagabond Pages. I think you’ll find it enjoyable and easy to read as the page will open immediately on the latest article. There is another reader I want to please – myself! I am reading these essays now in a leisurely way I couldn’t indulge when they were first printed. I want to find the magic thread that may give me new insight. Perhaps I’ll comment here, speak to you, from time to time – or often. Is that a good idea? I’m not planning too far ahead. If you have suggestions, please let me know!
